Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Distance: 36 km Drive + 6 km Trek (One Way)

• Early morning drive to Janki Chatti.
• Trek or hire a pony/palki to Yamunotri Temple.
• Visit Surya Kund and Divya Shila.
• Return to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.
• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi

Distance: 100 km | Time: 4–5 Hours

• Breakfast and drive to Uttarkashi.
• Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
• Relax at the hotel.
• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Distance: 100 km One Way | Time: 3–4 Hours

• Early morning drive to Gangotri Temple.
• Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River (optional).
• Perform darshan and explore the surroundings.
• Return to Uttarkashi.
• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Distance: 220 km | Time: 8–9 Hours

• Scenic drive through mountain roads.
• Pass Tehri Dam and Rudraprayag.
• Arrive in Guptkashi.
• Visit Ardhnarishwar Temple (time permitting).
• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Guptkashi – Kedarnath

Distance: 30 km Drive + 16–18 km Trek

• • Early morning drive to Sonprayag and Gaurikund.
  • Trek to Kedarnath or opt for a helicopter (optional).
  • Visit Kedarnath Temple for evening darshan.
  • Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 8: Kedarnath – Guptkashi

• Attend the early morning Abhishek Puja (optional).
• Trek back to Gaurikund.
• Drive to Guptkashi.
• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Guptkashi – Badrinath

Distance: 190 km | Time: 7–8 Hours

• Drive via Rudraprayag and Joshimath.
• Visit Tapt Kund before darshan.
• Seek blessings at Badrinath Temple.
• Attend the evening Aarti (subject to temple timings).
• Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath – Haridwar / Rishikesh

Distance: 300 km | Time: 9–10 Hours

• Visit Mana Village (India’s last village), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhim Pul (subject to time).
• Drive back to Haridwar or Rishikesh.
• Drop-off at the railway station, airport, or your preferred location.
• Tour ends with the blessings of the Char Dham.

Rishikesh to Char Dham Yatra Route

Rishikesh → Barkot → Janki Chatti → Yamunotri → Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Guptkashi/Sitapur → Sonprayag → Gaurikund → Kedarnath → Joshimath → Badrinath → Rishikesh

The first section takes you towards the Yamuna Valley. After Yamunotri, the route moves towards Uttarkashi and Gangotri before entering the Mandakini Valley for Kedarnath.

After Kedarnath, the journey continues through the Himalayan valleys towards Badrinath and finally returns to Rishikesh.
