Itinerary
With Uttarakhand Trails, every detail of your journey is carefully planned. From comfortable accommodations and reliable transportation to experienced local guides and 24/7 travel support, we ensure a safe, smooth, and spiritually enriching pilgrimage.
Begin your Char Dham journey from Delhi and travel towards Haridwar.
After reaching Haridwar, check in to the hotel and relax. If time permits, you can visit Har Ki Pauri and attend the evening Ganga Aarti.
Overnight: Haridwar
After breakfast, depart for Barkot through the Himalayan foothills.
The route gradually changes from plains to mountain landscapes. Reach Barkot, check in and rest for the next day’s Yamunotri journey.
Overnight: Barkot
Early morning departure towards Janki Chatti.
From Janki Chatti, pilgrims begin the trek towards Yamunotri Dham. The trek is approximately 6 km one way, though actual walking conditions can vary.
After darshan, return towards Janki Chatti and continue to Barkot.
Overnight: Barkot
After breakfast, drive towards Uttarkashi.
Enjoy the Himalayan scenery along the route and settle into your hotel after arrival.
Overnight: Uttarkashi
Start early for Gangotri Dham.
The route passes through beautiful Himalayan landscapes and the Harsil region. Visit Gangotri Temple and spend some peaceful time near the Bhagirathi River before returning to Uttarkashi.
Overnight: Uttarkashi
Today the journey continues towards the Kedarnath region.
The mountain drive is long, so this day is kept primarily for travelling and resting before the Kedarnath trek.
Overnight: Guptkashi / Phata / nearby location
Proceed towards Sonprayag and Gaurikund according to local transport regulations.
From Gaurikund, pilgrims begin the Kedarnath trek. The traditional walking route is around 16–18 km depending on the route and current conditions.
Reach Kedarnath, complete darshan and stay overnight near the shrine.
Overnight: Kedarnath
After darshan and morning activities, descend towards Gaurikund.
Continue by local vehicle to Sonprayag and then return to the hotel.
Overnight: Guptkashi / nearby location
Today drive towards Badrinath via the Himalayan mountain route.
After reaching Badrinath, check in and relax. Depending on arrival time and temple conditions, pilgrims can visit Badrinath Temple.
Overnight: Badrinath
Complete your morning darshan at Badrinath.
If weather and local conditions permit, visit Mana Village, one of the well-known Himalayan villages near the Indo-Tibetan border region.
Later proceed towards Joshimath.
Overnight: Joshimath / nearby location
Begin the return journey from the mountains towards Rishikesh or Haridwar.
This is your transition from the Himalayan region back towards the plains.
Overnight: Rishikesh / Haridwar
After breakfast, depart for Delhi.
